Challenges Faced

Listing Content – Truth Nutrition’s product listings were poorly written, and relevant keywords were not used in the front and backend of the listings. This caused issues with listing visibility and keyword indexing in Amazon’s algorithm, resulting in low sales.

Creative Design – Their listing images and A+ Content were poorly designed and not optimized. This resulted in a low click-through rate and conversion rate.

PPC Campaigns – Campaigns were poorly structured. Only Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands were in place, with many campaigns containing duplicate keywords, leading to wasted ad spend.

Plan of Action

To define our strategy, we began by auditing in-depth analysis of all product listings including listing images, creatives and PPC advertising.

We then implemented an integrated plan consisting of the following elements:

Listing Optimization:
Prior to optimizing the listing content, we conducted advanced keyword research and identified relevant keywords to be used in the product title, bullet points, and description to improve visibility and indexing in Amazon’s algorithm.

Creatives & Design:
We redesigned the main images using 3D product rendering and optimized the infographic images by effectively adding product features and benefits. This improved the click-through rates and increase the conversion rates.

We optimized the existing A+ content images by adding pain points that address our customers’ concerns. This resulted in better conversion rates, improved BSR and higher keyword ranking.

Advertisement & PPC:
To increase our market share, we improved the campaigns’s structure and devised a clear strategy and implemented different campaign types:

Sponsored Product Ads: We paused the irrelevant and duplicate keywords and added irrelevant keywords as negative. Targeting primary keywords and long-tail keywords that generate sales and improve ranking.

Sponsored Display Ads: Targeting high-converting categories and striving to appear at the top of search results as frequently as possible.

Sponsored Brand Ads: Enhancing brand reach and awareness by utilizing competition keywords.

Defensive Campaigns: Targeting our listings to ensure our products are prominently displayed across our product pages. We consistently create valuable posts to ensure that customers seeking solutions are aware of our products.

Impact

  1. Revenue Surge: The brand’s revenue skyrocketed – only from ads we managed to increase sales to around $27000 by the month of June by spending only $4,659 dollars. 

  2. Cost Efficiency: Advertising Cost of Sale dropped to 17.36% from 73%
