What is a full-service Amazon agency?

A full-service Amazon agency manages every part of selling on Amazon under one roof: creative production (listing images, A+ Content, 3D renders, packaging, video), advertising (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display, DSP), listing optimization and Amazon SEO, account operations (catalog, inventory, account health, case logs), and new-brand launch work (product research, sourcing, trademark, Brand Registry). The alternative, stitching together separate vendors, is how brands end up with ads pointing at listings that don't convert, and a catalog where the packaging, the A+ Content, and the storefront each look like a different company made them.

01 The real problem

Five vendors, five visual languages, and one shopper who scrolls past.

Every asset looks fine on its own. Together they look like five different brands happened to list the same product. Shoppers feel that inconsistency before they can name it, and they scroll past.

The scattered way

  • An ads agency that never sees your listing
  • A designer who doesn't know Amazon's image rules
  • A freelancer for packaging who never saw the A+ Content
  • Nobody accountable when sales stall
  • Four invoices, four timelines, four briefs to write

The Techload way

  • One creative system across every asset you own
  • Designers who know the 85% frame rule by heart
  • Packaging, A+ Content, and Storefront speaking one language
  • One team accountable for the number that matters
  • One invoice, one brief, one point of contact

02 Our method

The Compound Method

Why our clients' results build instead of plateau

Four levers that feed each other. Most agencies pull one and hope. We run the whole loop, which is why results build instead of plateau.

CREATIVE wins the click TRAFFIC ads + SEO DATA what converts OPS keeps it live Compound Method
  • 1Creative wins the clickImages, A+ Content, video and packaging built as one system. Without this, every dollar of traffic you buy lands on a page that cannot close.
  • 2Traffic proves what worksPPC and Amazon SEO push volume at the new creative, generating real conversion data instead of opinions.
  • 3Data rewrites the creativeSearch terms and conversion rates tell us which claims sell. That goes straight back into the images and copy, so the next round performs better.
  • 4Operations protect the gainsCatalog health, inventory and account issues fixed before they undo the work. A suppressed listing erases a quarter of growth overnight.

This is the loop five separate vendors physically cannot run, because none of them sees the other three steps. Why full-service compounds and point solutions plateau

03 Everything under one roof

Amazon agency services: creative, advertising, operations and launch

Everything Amazon demands, from one team that actually talks to itself

Launching your first product or untangling a catalog of four hundred, every lever is here, and each one is built to make the others work harder.

Amazon creative design: images, A+ Content, 3D rendering and video

Your ads buy the click. This is what closes the sale.

Ads get shoppers to your listing. What they see next decides everything. This is the design work behind our clients' conversion rates.

3D Product Rendering

One of these is a photograph. The other is our render.

05 Starting from zero

How to launch a new product on Amazon

From an idea to your first hundred sales

Most first-time sellers burn months and thousands learning the order these steps go in. Here's the path we run for new brands, and where we step in on each one.

01

Validate the idea

Demand, competition, seasonality and true landed margin. We'd rather kill a bad idea in week one than watch you fund it for a year.

02

Source and sample

Supplier vetting, sample rounds, negotiation and QC, so what arrives matches what you approved.

03

Company & trademark

Company formation and trademark filing. A pending mark is enough to start Brand Registry, so this doesn't have to cost you a year.

04

Brand Registry

Enrolled properly the first time, unlocking A+ Content, Stores, Vine and brand protection. From spring 2026 it's required for manufacturer barcodes on FBA.

05

Build the brand assets

Packaging, 3D renders, listing images, A+ Content and Storefront, all from one system, ready before inventory lands.

06

Launch and rank

Honeymoon-window PPC, review velocity and ranking campaigns, then a shift to profit mode once page-one positions hold.

Launching something new?

Tell us the idea and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth building, and what it will take. No obligation.

10 The real decision

Amazon agency vs in-house team vs software

The honest maths, including when the answer is not us

Most sellers compare our fee against zero. The accurate comparison is against what running this properly actually costs, in salaries, tools and your own hours.

 Full-service agencyIn-house teamSoftware only
Typical annual cost$18,000 to $60,000$200,000 to $350,000+ in salaries alone$1,200 to $6,000 in licences
What you getPPC, creative, listings, catalog and launch specialistsUsually one generalist covering all of itAutomation rules. No strategy, no creative
Time to productiveDays3 to 6 months of ramp per hireImmediate, but you still do the thinking
Breaks even around$500K+ a year on Amazon$15M to $20M+ a year on AmazonAny size, if you have the expertise in-house
Creative productionIncluded with us. Usually extra elsewhereOutsourced anyway, or done badlyNot available
Risk if they leaveLow. You keep the account and filesHigh. Knowledge walks out the doorNone, but nothing was built either
Your time costAbout 45 minutes a weekHiring, managing, reviewing, replacingEffectively a part-time job

The honest summary: below roughly $500K a year, self-manage with Amazon's own tools. Between $500K and $15M, an agency almost always wins on cost and capability. Above $15M, build in-house and keep an agency for creative and overflow. We will tell you which bracket you are in during the free audit, even when the answer costs us the sale.

11 Plain definitions

Amazon selling terms, explained in one line each

The vocabulary your agency should never make you feel stupid for asking about

ACoS (Advertising Cost of Sale)
Ad spend divided by ad-attributed sales. It measures campaign efficiency only. A 25% ACoS means you spent $25 in ads for every $100 of ad-driven revenue.
TACoS (Total Advertising Cost of Sale)
Ad spend divided by total sales including organic. It measures whether advertising is building your business. Falling TACoS means ads are lifting organic rank.
A+ Content
Enhanced brand content that replaces the plain product description with image and text modules. Available to Brand Registry sellers, and typically lifts conversion between 3% and 18%.
Premium A+ Content
The upgraded tier of A+ with larger modules, video, interactive hotspots and Q&A blocks. Now available to brand-registered sellers who meet Amazon's criteria.
Amazon Brand Registry
Amazon's brand protection programme. Requires a registered or pending trademark, and unlocks A+ Content, Brand Stores, Vine, Brand Analytics and hijacker protection.
Amazon Rufus
Amazon's generative AI shopping assistant. It answers shopper questions by reading listings, reviews and A+ Content, which makes structured, specific content a ranking factor.
Sponsored Products
Amazon's core pay-per-click ad type, promoting individual listings in search results and on product pages. Usually the majority of any account's ad revenue.
Amazon DSP
Amazon's programmatic advertising platform for display and video, reaching shoppers on and off Amazon. Generally worth adding once Sponsored Ads are maxed out.
Break-even ACoS
Your pre-advertising profit margin expressed as a percentage. Sell at $30 with $18 of costs and your break-even ACoS is 40%: above that you lose money on each ad sale.

13 Straight talk

Who we work with, and who we turn away

We would rather lose the sale than take the wrong account

You're a good fit if

  • You're doing $50K to $5M a year on Amazon and the account has outgrown whoever runs it now
  • You spend $1,000 to $100,000 a month on ads and suspect a chunk is wasted
  • Your listings, images and A+ Content were made by different people at different times
  • You're launching a new brand and want the order of operations done right the first time
  • You want flat pricing and the ability to leave any month without penalty

We're probably not, if

  • You're under $500K a year and pre-product-market-fit. Agency fees will eat your margin. Use Amazon's self-service tools first
  • You're above $15M a year on Amazon. In-house economics usually beat any agency at that scale
  • You want results in two weeks. Real compounding takes 60 to 90 days
  • Your product has fundamental review or quality problems. No ad spend fixes a 3.1-star average
  • You want someone to just "run ads" with no input on listings or creative

Amazon agency FAQ

The questions you'd ask if we were on a call

What is an Amazon agency?
An Amazon agency is a team of marketplace specialists that grows brands on Amazon by managing advertising, listing optimization and SEO, creative production, catalog operations and account health. Agencies range from single-service shops to a full service Amazon agency like The Techload that runs every growth lever, including new-brand launches, under one roof. The practical difference is accountability: with one team, nobody can blame the missing piece.
Is hiring an Amazon agency worth it?
It is worth it when the revenue gained plus the waste removed exceeds the fee, which is a maths question rather than a philosophical one. Below roughly $500,000 a year in Amazon revenue, usually not: agency fees eat margin before you have proven the product. Between $500,000 and $15M, an agency almost always wins, because a $2,000 to $5,000 monthly retainer buys a strategist, a PPC specialist, a designer and a copywriter for less than one junior hire. Above $15M, in-house economics usually take over. The hidden costs people forget are founder time, slower iteration and decisions made with less data. We will tell you honestly which bracket you fall into in the free audit.
Amazon agency vs in-house team: which is cheaper?
A fully resourced in-house Amazon team, covering PPC, listings, creative and operations, costs $200,000 to $350,000 a year in salaries alone before tools and overhead. A mid-level Amazon PPC specialist earns $70,000 to $95,000 base, or $130,000 to $150,000 fully loaded, and takes three to six months to become productive. A full-service agency retainer runs $18,000 to $60,000 a year. In-house generally only becomes the cheaper option above roughly $15M to $20M in annual Amazon revenue. Many brands between $10M and $30M run a hybrid: strategy in-house, execution with an agency.
How much does an Amazon agency cost?
Most agencies charge $1,500 to $5,000 a month, with larger firms reaching $8,000 to $10,000, and many add 10% to 20% of ad spend on top. Percentage-of-spend pricing creates a conflict of interest, because the agency earns more when you spend more. We use flat, public pricing with no percentage of anything: PPC from $499 a month per ASIN with a 15-day free trial, creative quoted flat per project, and our full 90-Day Turnaround at $6,900 or $2,500 a month. Every engagement starts with a free 24-hour audit.
What questions should I ask an Amazon agency before hiring?
Seven that separate specialists from resellers: Who specifically manages my account day to day, and how many other accounts do they hold? (More than 15 is a red flag.) Can I see a sample report? Is pricing flat or a percentage of spend? What are the contract and exit terms? What happens to my campaigns and data if I leave? Do you handle creative, or only ads? Can you show documented results in my category? A good Amazon advertising agency answers all seven in writing without hesitation. Ours: your named manager holds under 10 accounts, sample reports on request, flat pricing, month-to-month, everything stays yours, creative is in-house, and case studies are linked above.
What are the red flags when choosing an Amazon agency?
Watch for: refusing to share pricing until you sign an NDA or sit through a pitch; high-pressure closing like "sign today or lose this rate"; no questions about your margins, inventory or launch plans, which means they are not thinking strategically; the expert on the sales call is not the person managing your account; reports that are spreadsheets with no narrative; and agency-owned ad accounts that trap your history when you leave. Any one of these is reason enough to keep looking.
How do I switch from my current Amazon agency?
It is easier than most sellers fear. Because campaigns live in your Seller Central account, switching is usually a permissions change rather than a rebuild. The sequence: check your notice period, request any off-platform assets and source files, add the new agency through User Permissions, then remove the old one once handover is confirmed. We deliberately never rebuild campaigns from scratch in week one, because ad history carries ranking weight. We restructure around what already has data. Most transitions take under a week with no drop in spend efficiency.
What does a full-service Amazon agency include?
Four pillars: creative (listing images, Standard and Premium A+ Content, 3D rendering, packaging, Brand Story, Storefront, photography and video), growth (PPC across Sponsored Products, Brands, Display and DSP, listing optimization, Amazon SEO, keyword ranking), operations (Seller Central management, catalog issue resolution, account health, Vendor Central and KDP), and launch (product research, sourcing, trademark, company setup, Brand Registry). When one team runs all four, your packaging, A+ Content and storefront finally look like the same brand.
Do you design Amazon creatives, or only run ads?
Both, and that is the point. We have an in-house creative studio producing listing images, Standard and Premium A+ Content, 3D product renders, packaging, Brand Story modules, Storefronts, photography and video, with over 80,000 Amazon images produced. Because the same team runs your advertising, creative gets briefed against real search and conversion data instead of guesswork, and every asset is built from one visual system rather than five.
How much does Amazon creative design cost?
Market rates in 2026 run roughly $99 to $1,500 for a listing image set, $300 to $8,000 per ASIN for A+ Content depending on Standard versus Premium, and $5,000 to $15,000 for a full brand identity system. We quote flat per project scope with no percentage of revenue, and you keep the source files. Send us the scope and you will have an itemised quote within a day.
What is the difference between Standard and Premium A+ Content?
Standard A+ is available to any Brand Registry seller: up to seven modules of image and text layouts, comparison charts and lifestyle imagery. Premium A+ adds larger modules, video, interactive hover and Q&A blocks, and typically drives a further conversion lift. Amazon now makes Premium available to brand-registered sellers meeting its criteria, so simply having A+ is the baseline. How it is built, and whether it matches your packaging and storefront, is the differentiator.
Can you help me launch a new product on Amazon from scratch?
Yes, that is our Launch pillar: product research (demand, competition, true landed margin), sourcing (supplier vetting, samples, negotiation, QC), company setup and trademark filing, Brand Registry enrolment, full creative production before inventory lands, and a launch and ranking campaign through the honeymoon window. We will also tell you honestly when an idea is not worth building, which we would rather do in week one than watch you fund it for a year.
Do I need a trademark and Brand Registry to sell on Amazon?
Not to sell, but Brand Registry unlocks A+ Content, Brand Stores, Vine, Brand Analytics and hijacker protection, and from spring 2026 Amazon requires Brand Registry to use manufacturer barcodes with FBA, which makes it close to mandatory for serious sellers. Brand Registry requires a registered or pending trademark. A US filing costs roughly $250 to $350 per class in government fees, and a pending application with a serial number is usually accepted, so enrolment does not have to wait years. We handle the filing and the enrolment.
Can you fix suppressed listings and catalog problems?
Yes. Catalog work is one of the most common reasons brands come to us: suppressed or inactive listings, stranded inventory, broken variation families, flat file errors, duplicate ASINs, category and browse-node issues, hijackers, and account health warnings. We resolve them through the proper channels and then fix the root cause so they stop recurring. A single suppressed hero listing can erase a quarter of growth, which is why operations sits inside the same team as advertising.
Which is the best Amazon agency in 2026?
It depends on what you need. Large enterprise brands often pick big-headcount agencies; brands wanting senior attention and flat costs do better with focused teams; brands needing creative and ads to work together need an agency that genuinely does both in-house. Judge any Amazon advertising agency on four objective criteria: documented results in your category, pricing that does not scale against your growth, full-service scope under one roof, and daily human management. We publish an honest comparison of the 10 best Amazon agencies including where competitors beat us.
How long does it take to see results?
Your free audit arrives within 24 hours and work can begin within days. Creative concepts land in 5 to 7 business days. On advertising, early wins such as cutting wasted spend show in 2 to 4 weeks. Compounding results from restructured campaigns, new creative and improved organic rank mature over 60 to 90 days. Anyone promising a transformation in two weeks is either relaunching your campaigns and destroying your ad history, or lying.
Which marketplaces and account types do you support?
Amazon US, UK, CA, DE, ES, FR, IT and AU, with localized keyword research and content for each, across Seller Central (third-party sellers), Vendor Central (first-party brands) and KDP (authors and publishers), each with strategy adapted to that account type rather than copy-pasted.
Do you optimize for Amazon Rufus and AI search?
Yes. Amazon Rufus answers shoppers directly by reading listings, reviews and A+ Content, and tools like Perplexity, Gemini and ChatGPT increasingly recommend products from branded content too. We structure everything for AI-driven discovery: clear structured bullets, robust A+ Content, strong review signals and intent-aligned ad placement. Because we build packaging, images, A+ and Storefront from one system, AI models read one consistent brand instead of five conflicting signals.
What is not included?
Worth being direct about. We do not: pay your Amazon ad budget (that goes straight to Amazon), manufacture or warehouse your product, handle customer service messages, guarantee a specific revenue figure, or work with products that have unresolved safety or authenticity issues. We also do not take accounts where we do not think we can add value, which is why the free audit exists.
